Indian Ocean Here We Come!

Just a bit over a week to go before we continue heading around the world!  In going from Toronto to Darwin Carol and I will be leaving a place where spring is trying hard to make a comeback and arriving to a place where spring coolness is unknown.  But before Australia and Prince Diamond, Carol and I will take some advantage of being in this far off part of the world to do a couple of weeks of exploring Bangkok, Thailand with a side trip to see the temples of Angkor Wat, Cambodia.

While passing through Singapore we expect we will run into our new crew member also on his way to Darwin.  Matt Ray is currently in South Africa, and once we all get sailing around May 10 he’ll be starting off from Australia back toward the same country!  Not as fast as going by airplane however!  We expect to be stopping at Christmas Island, Cocos Keeling Islands, Rodrigues, Mauritius, Réunion, Madagascar and then Richard’s Bay, South Africa.

I’ll be posting here as usual during our adventures and keeping you all updated with what’s going on.  As usual, the video blog‘s posts are a number of months behind, but they will also keep appearing near the 1st and 15th of every month.  I’m kind of excited about their new look, as I finally created a “title” clip to begin each episode!  I hope you like it and hope you enjoy the videos as well.  The videos are currently taking place in 2017, during our time in Vanuatu, my favorite nation in the Pacific.  For those who may not be aware of the video blog, you can find the latest video here.  Please subscribe!
